Coriolis Wind, a privately held, venture capital funded wind energy start-up incorporated in the US with
R&D offices in Israel. The company seeks a highly motivated individual with a demonstrated track record
to join the company’s development team
The candidate must demonstrate creative skills in a dynamic start-up environment together with hands-
on engineering attitude and is expected to participate in the development of complex multi-disciplinary
products involving mechanical, aerodynamic, electrical, and electronics design.
The candidate will be responsible for tasks related to the mechanical aspects of the turbine system
development. Among others, the job requires the following:
Preparing the requirements and spec documents for products modules

Development activities (Design, drawings, prototype, testing etc)
•

Guide and support work or service provided by external consultants and subcontractors
•
Overall responsibility for specific projects - plan, development of sub systems , follow up, report and
control, delivery of agreed objectives
•
B.A. or higher degree in Mechanical, engineering.
•
5+ years of relevant work experience
•
Experience/ Participation in developing systems based on mechanical/aerodynamic-electrical
engineering.
•
Design and development capabilities in mechanics or large systems.
Self-motivated with outstanding interpersonal skills with both internal and external teams
•
Management and negotiation skills with sub contractors, suppliers and manufacturers
•

Hands-on attitude
•
Effective verbal and written communication
Experience in working within an entrepreneurial, market- and innovation-driven environment. Prior

experience in start-ups – preferred
