1. Fill in your class times, work times, and other major time commitments

2. Plan your study time. If you are taking 12 credit hours (4 classes) you will

probably need to study about 4 hours each weekday and 4 hours over

the weekend to keep up with your classes.

3. If you have a difficult class, plan to do your homework right after that class

while the instruction is still fresh in your memory. Give that subject extra

time for study, especially during the first half of the semester.

4. Instead of setting up solid “blocks” of time in class, try to plan for open hours

between your classes. You can review your lecture notes or prepare for

the next class during those times.
