hiking boots are recommended over tennis shoes for ankle support)
Extra shoes (if desired)
Hat (sun hat) (1)
Beanie (1)
Shorts (1-2)
Shirts (Long) (1-2)
Shirts (Short) (1-2)
Underwear / & Change of (for 3 days)
Socks (for 3 days)
Pajamas / sleepwear
Long underwear if desired
Ponchos
Toothpaste / Toothbrushes
Bar Soap or liquid soap
Purell (hand sanitizor)
Extra Clothes (Especially if rain predicted)
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Watch
Phone
Money for traveling expenses and souvenirs, etc. (both adults and kids)
Troop will provide:
Patrol Boxes
Stoves
Coffee (bring own cups – we have only a limited supply)
Eating utensils (but bring your own – limited supplies)
Cooking pots and utensils
Dish and pot cleaning stuff
Tents for Boy Scouts
Lanterns
Modify as appropriate - Use good judgement – what you bring to the campout
should be consistent with the particulars of the camping trip (destination,
expected weather, etc.).
