It’s time to sign up for your CSA Share!

We’re pairing down a bit this year and only delivering CSAs and Garden Shares to the Phipps Farmers Market

on Wednesdays 2:30 - 6:30. You can come to the farm to pick up your share on Wednesdays (11-7) or Sundays

(11-3). Please indicate which day you’ll be picking up your share at the farm.

Our CSA has some key changes. We no longer offer half shares, and have created several less expensive

food options as replacements. We now only provide Basic CSA subscriptions, but on a sliding scale

based on your financial needs (and ours). For customers with more economic trouble than our farm, the

price will not change. We call it our Good Samaritan Share ($550) since we are working hard and still

not paying for the production costs. People considering buying our Good Samaritan CSA subscriptions

are encouraged to

Garden Shares $200. Grow your own CSA! There is no reason why anyone can not afford our

delicious organic produce with this very moderately priced food option. Blackberry Meadows Farm is

unique in the region in enabling you to grow your own food and stock your pantry, by supplying you

with a monthly distribution of seeds and seedlings. Garden Shares are by far the highest value for

customers. For under $200 you can grow over $900 worth of food. What other investment yields this

kind of return in 3 months?

Market Membership Card Share. You can now buy 7 punch cards for $350 and then ‘buy’ farm-

produced items in our barn or market stand each week. Each card costs $50 and has $60 worth of

punches. You get your choice of items a la carte from our fridges and freezers (so long as they were

produced on the farm). Former half share customers are encouraged to buy, at minimum 7 cards to

replace their bi-weekly subscription.

Homestead Hog Share which includes 78 lbs of bacon, chops, and select cuts for $850. The meat will

be distributed weekly over 6 months. These pigs are raised on grass (and mud), non-gmo feed and

organic vegetables! We will only have 30 of these shares available in 2016. So sign up early and don’t

miss out!

Also - if you spread the word about how you love your CSA and recommend friends and family to sign up, we’ll

give you a $25 credit at our barn shop or farmers market stand. Please encourage them to mention your name!
