Dear Friend of Fairhope Elementary School,

The faculty, staff and volunteers of Fairhope Elementary School (FES) are hard at work, preparing for our 19

Annual Family

Night Auction & Dinner that will be held on our campus on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. We are respectfully requesting your

help in making this the best event to date. Through cash sponsorships and items available for bid through our silent auction,

we are hoping to raise $50,000 this year. While that may sound unachievable for some, we are confident that this supportive

community, coupled with the changes we have made to our event will help push us beyond the impressive $45,000 mark we

hit last year.

The funds raised at our last auction were used to replace some and extend the life of other classroom SmartBoards that are

used daily in instructing our students. Many were more than ten years old and not included in the BCBE budget for repair or

replacement. The faculty and staff would like to use this year’s proceeds to continue the upgrades.

Once again, Chick-fil-A, Daphne is sponsoring our dinner that is available from 5 to 6pm.

Although the doors will not open for our silent auction until 5:30pm on the night of the event, this is not the first opportunity

you will have to receive exposure for contributions you make as an individual and/or business this year. We’re going LIVE

for 2016! Supporters will even be able to bid on items as early as the end of February! Through the magic of technology, items

will be available for VIEWING AND BIDS as soon as they’re received, recorded and the information is uploaded at the school!

This will allow individuals who are unable to attend our event to support our school from miles away while allowing greater

recognition for our supporters! Bidding will close at 7pm as usual, regardless if buyers are at the event or are clicking away on

a computer or smartphone from home! No longer will people be able to hover over the bid sheets, preventing all from seeing

what’s been donated! Greater exposure for our donors also means greater profits for our school!

Attached, you will find the levels of cash sponsorship available and the benefits associated with each. All donors

contributing item(s) for auction will be listed in our school newsletter and on a display board that will remain in the school

throughout the year.

With your support and the support of this great community, I am confident that we can reach our goal of raising $50,000. We

appreciate any and all donations and/or sponsorships that you, your business or family can afford. Your gift will have a

direct influence in the lives of the children at FES and in our community.
