Algebra 1 Part B Summer Assignment
In order to ensure student success from Algebra 1 Part A to Algebra 1 Part
B, students will be required to complete the attached summer packet. This
th
packet will enable incoming freshmen to practice skills learned in 8
grade.
• The packet is due on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. Late packets
will receive a deduction of 5% if turned in by the first Wednesday or
10% if turned in by the first Friday.
• The summer packet will count as 40% of the first test grade.
• Extra help will be offered during the summer for those students in
need of assistance. Khan Academy video links have also been
provided for extra help.
o ALL WORK MUST BE SHOWN FOR FULL CREDIT ON
