All living things on Earth can be identified and classified by their char-
acteristics. In our next unit, “Classification,” our science class will be
studying the organisms that make up the living world and how they
are grouped.
For the hands-on activities in this module, we are collecting the
items listed below. Can you donate any of these items? If so, we need
to receive your donated materials by

empty 0.5-liter bottles

food items: apples, bananas,
bread, celery stalks, fruit
leaves (fresh)
juices, honey, iceberg lettuce,
