Letter of Invitation ‐ India (Example)
The Indian government requires a very specific and formatted Letter of Invitation (LOI) from the host
company in India which differs from standard LOI’s. The letter should be formatted as indicated in the
example below and must contain all of the listed information in the order indicated. Traditional, general
LOI’s will no longer be accepted. It is recommend that you forward this PDF to your host for review.
The letter MUST be printed on the Indian company’s letterhead including logo and address.
