A few pointers

1. You don't have to ask everyone for reviews, I recommend requesting reviews

only from clients who you know have been happy with your services.

2. If you know a client was unhappy with your services (maybe you had a really bad

day). Give them a chance to vent where it wont hurt your online reputation. I

recommend sending them the second email, but remove the option to leave you

an online review. Even though you might get a really nasty email back, it gives

you a chance to do better next time without having to work around a 1 star review.

3. Don’t be afraid to send multiple requests. For my long term clients, I usually send

them a request to leave me a review after the 2

month of working with me, and

then again every month until I get a review.
