Insert:
"All banking charges outside Issuing Banks country are for account of beneficiary. All
reimbursement related charges including those of negotiating bank are for account of
applicant." Article 19e of UCP “ The Reimbursement Bank’s charges should be for the account
of the Issuing Bank.”

Applicant’s: Reference only Company Name and Street Address omit PO Box, Phone, and Fax
numbers.

The LC must allow a minimum 21 days from ship date for presentation of documents.
10. The LC needs to expire at the counters of the U.S. Bank 30 days after Latest Ship Date.
11. The amount of the LC shall be +/- 5% of contract, which will cover shipping charges/
transportation.
12. The LC shall be payable in U.S. Dollars.
13. Documents Required
a.
Draft vs. Payment (Available with a “US Bank by draft”) Swift Tag:41A:
b.
Invoice (not; Commercial Invoice nor Manual Signatures), 1 original and 1 copy.
c.
Packing List in 1 original and 1 copy.
d.
Proof of Shipment: An Air Waybill (AWB) or an Ocean Bill of Lading, as confirmation of
shipment is acceptable only if HSI issues the documents. If a freight forwarder is used only
one of the following documents is acceptable as proof of shipment: Inland Bill of Lading,
Shippers Export Declaration (SED), Shippers Letter of Instruction (SLI), Freight Cargo Receipt,
or a Freight Forwarders Receipt (See SPECIAL INSTRUCTION on page 1)
14. Product needs to be Consigned to the Issuing Bank.

15. Incoterms 2000 or latest revision: FCA Trumbull, USA
16. Partial Shipment are “Allowed”, referencing a specific quantity leads to delays in shipment if the LC
requires an amendment for additional shipments, as parts are subject to availability and it is our goal to
expedite and consolidate shipments.
17. HSI requests that the L/C not specify a Freight Forwarder and address in the LC. If you have a
preferred freight forwarder please communicate this outside of the LC. Forwarder may be inoperable,
and we require the flexibility to accommodate your shipment.
18. Port of Loading / Shipment From:
FROM: USA
Reference Country only, do not reference specific
Airport. This allows more flexibility to accommodate your shipment.
19. Place of Unloading / Port of Export: Transportation
TO: _________Reference Country only,
allowing more flexibility by not referencing the specific Airport. The preferred Ports can be
communicated outside of the LC.
20. Part numbers, Quantity, and Unit prices are NOT to be stated under the "Description of Goods
and Services". We request that only the product name be listed (i.e. Military or Commercial Aircraft
Parts with P.O.#, or Contract#).
