Financial Aid Application - For Child

Girl Scouts of Suffolk County provides a limited scholarship program to ensure that no child is denied

an opportunity to participate in Girl Scouting because of financial circumstances.

For troop activities, please check with your child’s troop leader about having part of the fee absorbed

by the troop and/or local service unit. Troops traditionally use a portion of their funds to defray the

cost of troop activities.

Please complete the attached application at least four weeks before the event or activity. Check the

appropriate box where indicated for Council Trip/Event/Program, Camp Adventure, Destinations, or

Troop Activity/Equipment. Fill in the name of the activity with an explanation if necessary.
