1. Application must be filed with the county auditor in person or by mail on or before May 10 in the year in which the addition to assessed
valuation is made or not later than thirty (30) days after the date of mailing of such assessment notice by the township assessor.
2. Limitation on availability. The assessed valuation (at 100% of TTV) of the property prior to rehabilitation cannot exceed $18,000 for single
family dwellings; $24,000 for a two (2) family dwelling; or $9,000 per dwelling unit for three or more family units.
3. The deduction in assessed value allowable cannot exceed $9,000 per dwelling unit rehabilitated.
4. County Auditor must present the application to the assessor of the township in which the property is located for the deduction verification.
