Procedure
1. The owner or owner’s agent discusses the feasibility of a Temporary Certificate of

4. The applicant will visit P&D Payments and Submittals or call 602-262-7811 to pay

all associated fees. Once the fee has been applied, the TCO will be issued and

sent to the applicant to post on the job site. (For AFP projects see fee schedule
for billing purposes.)
5. Using the TCO number, the applicant will call 602-495-0800 (or the (AFP

Inspectors for AFP permits.) Fire inspections are requested by calling the phone

number provided on the original construction permit or 602-262-7811. Indicate that

inspections being requested are specifically for a Temporary Certificate of
Occupancy.
6. A TCO is valid after all inspection disciplines have signed off and approved areas
of use. The maximum duration of the TCO shall be as noted on the document, but
