Missing Milk Carton Ad
OVERVIEW: Imagine if the three Mrs. W’s swooped in to help Meg and
Charles Wallace because they read about the father’s disappearance on
a milk carton! As the first part of your final project for A Wrinkle in
Time, you will create a 2-Panel Missing Person Advertisement on a
beverage carton (milk, orange juice, etc) to demonstrate your
understanding of characterization in Madeleine L’Engle’s novel. It is an
independent project. Since he left before Charles Wallace began
speaking at four years old, Mr. Murry was gone for over a year. So think
about how Mrs. Murry, Meg, Charles Wallace, and the twins would
have put together a missing person report. Be creative!
