Fundraising – Krispy Kreme
General Information
Description: Organize and coordinate a Krispy Kreme fundraising. Appointed by the Committee Chair and serves at the
satisfaction of the Committee Chair and the Troop Committee.

Responsibilities
Ensures all fund raising activity meets BSA guidelines.
Obtains Troop Committee approval for all fundraising projects.
Report to the Troop Committee as needed.
Maintain a liaison with the Scoutmaster and Committee Chair to avoid scheduling conflicts with troop activities.
Organizes scouts and parents to assist in fundraising activities.
Submits Money Earning Application, approve by committee chair, to council office for fundraising project, if
needed
Tracks hours worked and funds earned.

Requires an event where you will an audience to sell doughnuts (ex. Pinewood Derby)
Complete Krispy Kreme Fundraising Application Form which is noted below:
BSA Money Earning Application will need to be submitted to council office, once approved by Comm. Chair
One month ahead of time, have sign-up sheets for participation at troop meeting for both scouts and adults
One week ahead of time, identify how many dozen of doughnuts will be needed and order online which can be
done here
Work with Scoutmaster to identify scout in charge
Have sign‐up sheets available day of event so scouts can note start and stop time.
Once funds are collected, turn into Treasurer along with list of scouts that participated.
An hourly rate will be identified based on the profit of sales and the total hours the scouts work; which will then
be allocated to each scout’s high adventure account.
Turn in receipts for purchase of doughnuts to Treasurer for reimbursement.
