Dog Walking/Sitting –Terms and Conditions
1
General
1.1.
The commissioning of the Company by the Client to carry out Dog
Walking/Pet Sitting whether verbally or in writing constitutes acceptance of
these Terms of Business.
1.2
Your dog walker/pet sitter has been CRB/police checked and references
can be supplied.

Our Agreement
2.1.
The Company agrees to supply Dog Walking and Pet Sitting services in
accordance with a Brief provided by the Client,
2.2.
Dog walking takes place sometime between 11am and 2pm unless
discussed and agreed with Talk2thepaw
3
Payment
3.1
Talk2thepaw will invoice the client on a monthly basis. Invoices should be
paid within 7 days electronically or by cheque.
3.2
If the client has to cancel a walk/visit the following charges apply:
12 hours and over - no charge
Under 12 hours – 50% of the fee
If the dog walker turns up to find that they should have been cancelled then
the full fee will be charged
3.3
If a pet requires veterinary treatment during an assignment a charge will be
made of £10/hour to cover the additional time required and 45p/mile to
take them to the vet. This will be billed on the monthly invoice.
3.4
There are additional charges for all weekends and Bank Holidays

Insurance
4.1.
The Company is covered by Public Liability Insurance.
4.2.
It is agreed that it is the Client’s responsibility to adequately insure the
property and its contents and any pets with an insurance company of good
repute, and that such insurance shall continue for the duration of this
agreement.
4.3
The Company cannot accept any liability for the loss or injury to any pet.
5
Miscellaneous
5.1.
The dog walker/house sitter will feed and medicate (if necessary) all
animals and visit/walk the dog an agreed number of times a day. All
instructions should be included in the briefing form and enough food, treats
and medication (if necessary) should be supplied.
5.2
The Client should ensure that any vets bills incurred during the assignment
will be billed directly to the Client and not the pet sitter.
5.5
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms of Business
without notification to the Client.
5.6
The Client is responsible for ensuring that neither their house and its
environment, nor the work expected of the pet sitter, present any avoidable
or unusual risks recognised by the Health and Safety Executive.
