High School Girls' Conference, March 25, 2016

We encourage adults to attend this STEM (science, technology, engineering,

math) conference and appreciate your interest and participation! Stimulating,

relevant and useful workshops are our goals. One of your workshops will be a

duplicate of a workshop presented to the girls. Adult workshops are separate from

the girls’ sessions as a result of requests from both the students and presenters.

If you want to know more about the workshop the girls attended, we suggest you ask the girls to

prepare a post-conference interactive presentation about the workshops they attended. This

strategy will give your students an authentic level of responsibility, evaluation skills and peer

teaching experience.
