Dear Community Partner and Friend of Music!

On March 28th and 29th, 2012, The Santa Monica High School Band Program will host

the 10th Annual SCSBOA Band & Orchestra Festival! 38 Bands and Orchestras from

around Southern California will visit SAMOHI to perform before judges, family, friends

and one another in a two-day celebration of music. Itʼs one of the cultural highlights of

the school year and a great opportunity to show our guests what Santa Monica and

SAMOHI are all about!

As budget cuts and a tightening economy have put the squeeze on our program, we are

reaching out to our community partners to help us stage this wonderful event by asking

for donations of food to feed the hungry musicians.

At SAMOHI, we have exciting band, orchestra and choir programs, enthusiastic

students, an outstanding, dedicated faculty and solid parent support. It is wonderful to

feel the support of the community as we strive to maintain our commitment to

excellence.
